IN-KIBERA-WOMEN-ARE-JUWELS is a women’s organization in Kenya, located in Nairobi, Kibera, the largest urban slum in Africa.
The main purpose of the project is to ensure the economic independence for women living in Kibera by creating and selling traditional jewellery and handicrats from Kenya.
This blog will try to be modestly their jewell case: give them support from production to marketing but also be by their side in their daily struggle, identifying issues and finding with them solutions, listening and sharing their sorrows but also promote their success.
Showing and sharing their work and their learning experiences will contribute to encourage other women to do the same and will give the community proudness and enhance their dignity thru their action.
Do not forget, behind EVERY WOMAN, children are here, a family, old age parents and parents-in-law.
Women's Development is vital and crucial for a Country and his future.
